The top 5 trends were
- Storytelling is the most important tactic
- Press releases and white papers are becoming less important in communication strategies
- Organic Social Media is getting harder generate great results
- Paid social media and corporate blogging are becoming more important
- Web analytics are become the top tool used by communication professionals
What does this all mean for a salesperson?
PR people have just learned what we all knew, telling relevant stories really engages customers and to generate high quality leads you need more than than just a white paper it needs to be a comprehensive multi touch campaign using multiple media and analytics.
